Academic Support Programs provides quality academic assistance through a variety of means. We strive to foster positive perceptions and experiences about participating in learning assistance activities.

Learning and Academic Resources

Academic Consultation

Improve your performance on tests, make dull classes more interesting, and put the most effective studying into your study time. Meet with a professional staff member to discover your style of learning and how to apply it to everyday college life. Please contact the Counseling Center at 341-4211 to set up a meeting with a counselor.

Additionally, you may self-administer the VARK Questionnaire in order to learn more about your learning style.

Seminars and Presentations

Continually improving your learning effectiveness involves many aspects. Academic Support Programs offers seminars which examine these aspects and identify ways that work for you! Contact our office at 341-6655 to make arrangements for a class, a student organization, or a Residential Floor event.

Resource Learning Centers

Missouri S&T has two Resource Learning Centers (formerly Residential Learning Centers) located in Thomas Jefferson Hall, Room G7 and in 204 Norwood Hall.

Student Learning Center

A quiet, comfy place to study! Operational hours and other information is posted at this site. We have coffee, tea, hot cocoa, a microwave, and good company that makes the Student Learning Center the comfortable place that it is.
